President of Mansoura National University Discusses the New Student Reception Plan and Affirms Commitment to Delivering an Outstanding Admissions Experience

Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim, President of Mansoura National University, chaired a meeting to discuss the university’s plan for welcoming prospective students applying for admission during the 2026–2027 admissions cycle. The meeting reflects the university’s commitment to providing an outstanding experience for prospective students and their families from the very first stage of the application process.
The meeting was attended by Professor Walid Raslan, Vice President for Academic Affairs; the University Secretary-General; and members of the Faculty of Engineering’s engineering team. Discussions focused on the proposed designs, technological infrastructure, and logistical arrangements for student and parent reception areas.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the proposed layouts for reception areas and discussed mechanisms for managing visitor flow across the university campus to ensure smooth procedures, efficient service delivery, and a comfortable and well-organized experience for students and their families. The meeting also reviewed plans for organizing applicants according to academic streams, faculties, and academic programs to achieve the highest levels of efficiency and organization throughout the admissions period.
Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim emphasized the importance of early preparation for the admissions season through the establishment of modern reception facilities equipped with directional signage and interactive digital screens. He also highlighted the importance of providing informational materials and brochures containing comprehensive details about the university’s faculties, academic programs, and student services.
The University President further directed the formation of reception and support teams comprising both staff members and students to assist applicants, answer inquiries, and facilitate navigation throughout the admissions process. Dedicated academic advising stations will also be established to provide guidance and support to students and parents during the various stages of application and registration.
The plan additionally includes the organization of guided campus tours to introduce prospective students and their families to the university’s educational facilities, laboratories, lecture halls, infrastructure, and support services. These tours are intended to showcase the university’s advanced facilities and learning environment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim reaffirmed that students remain at the heart of the university’s priorities. He emphasized the university’s commitment to delivering a comprehensive university experience that reflects the standards of quality and excellence embedded across all its activities and services.
