Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim, President of Mansoura National University, chaired the inaugural meeting of the Center for Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation in the presence of Professor Walid Raslan, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Professor Mohamed Zohry, Supervisor of the Center for Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation; faculty deans; and quality coordinators from the university’s faculties.
During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of establishing an integrated quality assurance and accreditation system across the university to support the continuous enhancement of academic and administrative performance and to achieve the highest standards of efficiency and institutional excellence.
He also highlighted the importance of promoting a culture of quality and accreditation among all members of the university community and strengthening the capacities of personnel working in this field. Such efforts, he noted, would contribute to improving educational outcomes and enhancing assessment and evaluation practices in line with the latest international trends in higher education.
Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim explained that this strategic direction aligns with the Egyptian state’s efforts to advance higher education, achieve the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030, and implement the national strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education. These efforts are intended to address the challenges of the twenty-first century and respond to the increasing competitiveness among higher education institutions at both the national and international levels.
He further emphasized that quality represents a tangible reflection of the university administration’s commitment to advancing the educational process through the implementation of effective and systematic measures that ensure the continuous development and improvement of all systems and operations across the university, ultimately leading to academic accreditation.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of integrated cooperation among the university administration, faculties, and the Center for Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation to prepare graduates capable of keeping pace with scientific, technological, and professional developments while achieving the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and excellence.
