As part of Mansoura National University’s commitment to expanding its global academic engagement and broadening opportunities for international collaboration, Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim, President of the University, chaired a meeting with members of the Board of the International Relations Office to discuss the office’s action plan for the coming period and outline a comprehensive strategy for strengthening international partnerships.
The meeting was attended by Professor Walid Raslan, Vice President for Academic Affairs; members of the Board; faculty deans; program directors; and Professor Sahar Abdel Rahman, Director of the International Relations Office.
During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of developing a clear vision and action plan aligned with the university’s strategic objectives, supporting the establishment of effective international partnerships with academic institutions both within Egypt and abroad.
He noted that the International Relations Office serves as a strategic instrument in advancing the university’s international profile through the development of partnerships with universities and research centers, the establishment of academic and research cooperation agreements, the promotion of student and faculty exchange opportunities, and the attraction of international opportunities in education and research.
Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim further stressed the importance of expanding international partnerships with leading global universities through joint programs and joint degree opportunities, the development of integrated academic programs, the hosting of international experts, and the establishment of distinguished academic alliances.
He also highlighted the importance of collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to organize workshops for faculty members aimed at enhancing teaching competencies, advancing educational methodologies, and improving the overall quality of the educational process.
In addition, the meeting discussed the development of several cooperation protocols with a leading university in China in the medical field, as well as the establishment of cooperation agreements with a number of Arab universities to expand academic and research collaboration.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the university administration’s full support for the efforts of the International Relations Office to strengthen the university’s regional and international standing.
